I'ts been awhile since I visited the old Angola war Vet. I shot some pics of him the first time a few months ago in "De Gamles by" Nørrebro, close to a retirement home where he was walking his dog!
The pictures got picked up by some medias and has also won a prize in association with some students from Mediehøjskolen. Their subject was to do a campaign, about not forgetting the elderly and their client was Red Cross. They asked permission to use the picture and I of course said yes! After that another newspaper got a hint of the pictures and called me up and asked if I would be interested in doing a full portrait of him for a newspaper called Husforbi. Heck yes, and the issue was on the streets last month! These were the pics!
Janelle Monae was without a doubt one of the best concert, that I attended at this years Roskilde Festival!
I truely don't think that my shots can justify the true atmosphere of the concert! But yeah shit happens and with only permission of shooting the first 3 songs, there isn't much to do, but to pull back and enjoy the music 100%!
Thx for now Roskilde, see you next year, with or without the camera!
I've seen L.O.C a dozen times now and I never get bored or dissapointed, but this time it was only shoot and then on to the next concert! Janelle Monae was the next concert on my list of, What to shoot. It turned out to be my concert of the week! Janelle Monae, up next:-)
It's not a secret, that hiphop is one of my biggest love, so of course I had to see and shoot Big Boi! While I had one of the best spot in the house, I spotted my boys in the bag who all decided to flip me off, while pointing my lense at them! Love you guys:-)
The Currensy concert was awesome and very entertaining, sometimes I didn't know if he was a rapper or a comedian. Either way, he knew how to keep the mob entertained!
